Do you do unlimited mileage?

No – however if you know that you will go over the 300km per day limit we may be able to work out a package which includes a greater number of kilometres.

Can you pay extra to reduce the daily insurance excess?

No – we have standardised the excess at $1000 to keep it easier for everyone.

How can we pay for our booking?

To make it easy for you, we accept credit card (Visa or MasterCard), cash and EFT transfer. You can find these listed when you are making your booking online.

How can I change or cancel my booking?

You can make changes to, or cancel bookings up to 48 hours before the booking takes place at no charge. If you wish to cancel you must do so either in writing (email is fine) or verbally over the phone. In the event of a cancellation, a fee of $50 within 48 hours and $100 within 24 hours will be charged.

What is a security bond & how does it work?

A security bond is a pre – authorisation to your credit card that is used as a form of protection by Adairs whilst you are hiring a vehicle from us.
Before collecting your vehicle, by completing the credit card guarantee you are guaranteeing that in the event of any damage, you have given Adairs a pre -authorisation to your credit card for the bond amount as a security measure. Provided the vehicle is returned undamaged and no additional charges apply (e.g. fuel), the pre-authorisation is cancelled.

What do I need to bring with me when signing the vehicle out?

All drivers of the vehicle will need to be present and provide a valid drivers licence and credit card in their own name. Drivers with an overseas licence must provide their country licence, international licence and passport. Please allow at least 15 minutes to complete your paperwork and a vehicle inspection before leaving.

How old do you have to be to hire a vehicle?

All drivers must be over the age of 25 and under 75.

Can you provide a driver?

Yes – we can organise a minibus with a driver to pick you up and drop you off to locations and times that you choose.

Can you pick up and drop off my group from different places?

Yes – however you are required to inform us when enquiring of how many different pick up locations you require and upon confirmation we will require a list of accurate addresses. Obviously the more pickups the longer the time spent in the bus.
