Cheap and accessible parking is in high demand – and not easy to find when you need it. Here’s a guide to finding affordable parking in Sydney for your Easter Holidays! 

All Day Parking

All day parking is probably the cheapest option for visitors. You can park for as little as $15/day in the CBD without worrying about entry and exit requirements. Some of the best all day options include: 

  • Darling Harbour – $15 /day
  • Pitt St Mall – $20 /day
  • Townhall – $20 /day
  • King St Wharf – $20 /day
  • World Square – $24 /day

Early Bird Parking 

Sydney parking is often cheapest early in the morning, after 5.00 pm or on the weekend. If you visit the city on weekdays, early bird options can save you a lot of money. But you will need to enter and leave at specific times when rates are lowest. 

Goulburn Street Car Park

Early bird parking: Park between 06:00am-09:30am and leave between 03:00pm-07.00pm. Charges: $17.00/day

Evening parking: enter after 05:00 pm and leave before 06:00 am for a flat rate of $10.00

Weekend parking: $12.00 flat rate

Darling Quarter Car Park

Early bird parking: enter between 06:00 am-09:30 am and exit between 3:00-7:00 pm. Price: $18.00.

Night deals: Monday to Thursday $12.00 | Friday $14:00. Enter after 5:00 pm and exit before 6:00 am the next day. 

Sydney Opera House Car Park

Early bird parking: enter between 6:00am-10:00am and exit between 3.00pm and 7:30pm. Charges: $18.00. 

Weekend price: enter by 6:00 am and exit before 5:00 pm, charges: $15.00. The night rate applies after 5.00 pm.

Darling Quarter Car Park

Early bird: enter between 6:00am-9:30am and exit between 3:00pm-7.30pm. Charges: from $18.00.

Weekend prices: $15 flat rate per exit per day.

Night prices: Monday to Thursday $12.00 | Friday $14.00 enter after 5:00 pm, exit before 6:00 am the next day

Harbourside Car Park

Early bird parking: enter between 6:00am-9:30 am, exit between 3:00pm-7:00pm. charges: $15.00

Night prices: enter after 6:00 pm and exit before 4:00 am. Charges: between $15-$25, depending on whether it is a weekday or weekend. 

Allianz Centre Car Park 

Early bird parking: available on weekdays, enter between 06:00am-10:00am and exit between 03:30pm-07:00pm. Charges: $15.00

Weekend cost: available on weekends and public holidays, enter after 6:00 am and exit before 05:00 pm charges: $15.00 for drive-up or $12.00 online.

King Street Wharf Car Park

Early bird parking: available on all weekdays, enter between 07:00am-9:30am and exit between 04:00pm-07:00pm. Changes: $25.00

Weekend prices: available on weekends and public holidays. Enter after 06:00 am and exit before 05:00 pm. Charge: a flat rate of $49.00 

Night prices: available from Monday to Wednesday. Enter after 05:00 pm and exit before 06:00 am the next day. Charges: drive up $49.00 online $20.00

Things to Do in Sydney

Visit The Rocks

The Rocks is an enchanting neighbourhood that offers plenty of family activities, including exploring cobblestoned paths and ferry-watching on Circular Quay. You can have lunch at the Australian Heritage Hotel and sample kid-friendly menus.

Mall Parking Station

Early bird parking: available from Monday to Friday for users who park for over 7 hours and enter before 9:30 am. Charges: $11.00 Saturday flat rate: $5.00.

Weekday rates: from $4.50 to $5.00 per hour

Weekly (5 days): $60.00

No.2 Sportsground Car Park

No.2 Sportsground Car Park is located on Smith Street near the CBD. Parking charges are $4/hr or $8 all day on weekdays and free on weekends. 

Hunter Parking and Storage 

Early bird: $12.00 for entries between 5.00am-9.30am and exit before 8.00pm 

Weekdays: charges range from $4.50 to $6.00 per hour. 

Night owl: $5.00 for entry after 5.00 pm and exit before 8.00 am the next day

Wilson Parking

Weekdays: $15.00 weekdays

Weekends: $5.00
